PARKING AT UW
For unrestricted and public parking lots:
The daily parking fee is $15.00/day between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
The night parking rate begins at 5 p.m. and is $5.00/night. A weekend rate of $5.00 is charged when parking on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon.
Please note: The Central Plaza Garage charges a non-refundable $10.00 event rate every evening from 5 p.m until 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. until noon.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
With parking lots becoming increasingly packed and traffic on-campus or near the u-district becoming more chaotic, visitors of the lots and the UW Transportation services will need a user-friendly way of easily visualizing statistics, correlations, and patterns for data exploration, decision making, and planning purposes.
The purpose of our project is to portray the logistical and statistical data pertaining to the UW’s parking facilities to its users, both for the customer and facilitators of the parking lot. The interactive visualization we create will enable public users such as students, visitors and staff who intend to park at the university, to access information about parking statistics and plan their commute to the university accordingly.
While we tried our best to ensure correct and updated information is displayed on our visualization. Please observe signage about restrictions at the parking lots when parking.
